Trash Schedule
WIMBLEDON – SANITATION SERVICES
Effective January 1, 2020, the City of Boca Raton provides all sanitation services in Wimbledon. Residents can learn more about restrictions, updated holiday pickup schedules and more by visiting the City Sanitation department’s website here (https://www.myboca.us/665/Sanitation) or by contacting the City Sanitation department directly at 561-416-3367.
SCHEDULE
- TUESDAY AM – GARBAGE ONLY
- FRIDAY AM – GARBAGE, RECYCLING, VEGITATION AND BULK PICKUP
- NO COLLECTION ON HOLIDAYS
- There are no collection services in the City of Boca Raton on specific holidays. Regularly scheduled services will resume before or after your next scheduled day.

ETIQUETTE
- Residents are asked to put out waste only AFTER 5PM on Mondays and Thursdays – Please DO NOT put trash out before 5pm on these days.
- Bins and waste should be placed on the end of your driveway, not the grass
- For additional clarity – DO NOT PILE VEGITATION TRASH OR DEBRIS ON THE GRASS. Keep it on your driveway.
- City Sanitation will not collect household garbage if it is not in City-issued containers
- Residents are responsible for cleaning up any spilled waste not picked
- Put away empty bins out of sight from the street, by end of the day on pick-up days (Tuesdays and Fridays).
- We want to keep Wimbledon looking clean, so please do not leave empty bins, yard waste or other trash sitting outside or otherwise visible from the street on days not designated for trash pickup.
BULK & VEGITATION WASTE
There is a limit of 2 cubic yards and restrictions on specific items that will not be picked up. You can find out more about bulk pickup restrictions here
UNACCEPTED MATERIALS
Certain items are not accepted by City Sanitation and will not be picked up. Please visit the link here to learn more.
PAY-FOR-PICKUP
The City offers a “Pay for Pickup” option to schedule bulk item pickup on unscheduled collection days for a fee. Only acceptable/non-hazardous materials can be collected using this option. To learn more or schedule, please call the Sanitation Department at 561-416-3367
GARBAGE COLLECTION & CONTAINERS
- If you do not have a City-issued container or need an additional container, please contact the Sanitation Department for ordering and current pricing at 561-416-3367.
- The City will provide each curbside resident with one city issued container at no cost. However, if you would like an additional container, the City charges a one-time fee of $46 for the 65-gallon container or $50 for the 95-gallon container. The City will also charge an additional fee of $5.28 per month, to be included on your water bill.
